BRIEF BIOGRAPHY

Pagnavatey has many years of experiences in legal practices both locally and internationally. She has advised and assisted clients on various issues in Cambodia ranking from company incorporation, intellectual property related matters, domain name registration, obtaining business licensing such as Qualified Investment Project licensing, tourism licensing, and cosmetic product registration etc. and other day to day compliances.

Prior joining Sethalay, she had been with regional law firms in Cambodia for more than five years where she had assisted a wide range of clients in different sectors such as pharmaceutical companies, cosmetic, major tobacco company, entertainment sectors and food and beverage businesses. She further assisted in conducting due diligence and drafting legal memorandums on e-commerce, licensing, banking and finance, taxation, real estate, water treatment plant and other corporate related matters. She also has a brief experience working in an Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic at Washington University School of Law, where she obtained her LL.M. degree under the Fulbright Scholarship, as a Law Student Counsel to draft a memorandum on environmental issues as a comment letter to submit to United States Environmental Protection Agent on behalf of her client.

At Sethalay Law Office, Pagnavatey has been assisting local and international clients in conducting research and drafting various contractual agreements and due diligence report. Moreover, she has also advised and assisted clients in litigation matter and as well as market entering specifically for financial, transportation and insurance sector. Pagnavatey has also assisted clients in drafting, and reviewing over the legal documents for business transactions.

In addition to her legal career, she is also an adjunct lecturer at a public university in Cambodia where she teaches Legal Method, Legal Analysis and Writing, Negotiation, and Labor Law.
